Original drawings : Miscellaneous v. 2, [1820-1859].

Contains approximately 200 original drawings in pen-and-ink and pencil with numerous manuscript notes and drafts of letters referring to "Gentlemen in Black, "Ominbus," etc. Many of the sketches are drawn on used envelopes, letters, invoices, notes, etc. Includes an unfinished invoice to John Murray, the Publisher, charging him for 12 drawings at £5-0-0, only five items being detailed some of which appeared in the "Life of Napoleon," issued in Murray's Family Library.
